Taina Escobar

Taina has been working with Dr. Khalil since April of 2000, she is the longest working member of this awesome and very friendly crew at Dr. Khalil practice who she considers part of her family. Taina is happily married to her wonderful husband. They both enjoy and make spending time together with their two wonderful children a priority.

Taina enjoys helping her community by volunteering her time as much as she can. Taina comes from a family who strongly believe in the word of God. In addition, they are active members of Fairfax Baptist Temple for the Spanish community (Templo Bautista de Fairfax) where Taina Volunteers for the Church's Spanish Library.

She also is a current volunteer for the Fairfax City Fire Department as an EMS. In 2012 she completed her Level 1 Emergency Response courses in Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Training Center. Moreover, she successfully completed her EMS in 2013 and serves as Administrative support for the Fire Department.

Hilda Amapanga

Hilda has been working with Dr. Khalil since May of 2004. She is the heart and soul of the practice. Hilda is happily married she was born in Kenya and proudly became an American Citizen in 2006. Hilda obtained her Medical Assistance Certificate in 2003 from IMA Institute in Falls Church, Va. She enjoys helping all who surround her; she enjoys working in a diverse and strong community that grows with day. She is a strong believer of the word of God and shows respect and kindness. Hilda also works with the Resource of independence of Virginia where she makes a difference. Hilda along the years has built a great relationship with the patients who she continues to assist throughout the years. Hilda enjoys listening to Gospel music and learning new things.

Sawsen

Sawsen is a proud Iraqi who is happily married with 3 amazing kids. She is strong in her beliefs and sets her faith in God.

Sawsen lived in Sweden for 7 years before moving to the US in 2012. She completed her degree in Economics and Management in 1991 at the University of Baghdad. She speaks Arabic, Swedish, and she is still perfecting her English. Sawsen loves to travel and visit her family and friends around the world. Her hobbies are anything that keeps here active, especially swimming. Sawsen joined Dr. Khalil's team on July 2016. She enjoys helping others and getting to learn more about the community that surrounds her.

Helen Lemus

Helen Lemus is a proud mother of a beautiful daughter who she loves and strives every day to provide her with the best. Helen moved from Guatemala to the US in 2004 enjoyed the atmosphere of California for 6 months and relocated to northern virginia in 2005. She cares for animals and enjoys helping out in her community. Helen obtained her medical assistant certificate in 2017 from Nova Community College. While attending college she had the opportunity to obtain experience in customer service while working at Lindsay Lexus dealership and finishing her practicals for medical assistance at Virginia ID Doctors of Reston. Helen joined Dr. Khalil office in August 2018. Making her the newest member of the practice where she will continue with her professional career as one of Dr. Khalil's newest medical assistant.
